Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me: for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
What does the Bible say about surrender? Not only are we told in Scripture to surrender our lives in order to accept the free gift of salvation, but to pursue daily surrender of our sinful, prideful nature. As children of Yah, we are to submit to the will of Yah, that which pleases Him, and pursue truth and righteousness above all else. In this pursuit, we may also cast our distress upon Him as we trust in Him in complete surrender.
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of Elohim, and he shall lift you up.
Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body more than raiment.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of Yah, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 22:37-38 Yahshua said unto him, Thou shalt love Elohim thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.
Psalm 9:10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou Elohim, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
1Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of Yah, that he may exalt you in due time. Casing all your care upon him, for he careth for you.
Total surrender to Yah is offering up yourself to the one who is absolute. When you surrender your all to Him, you stop forcing solutions on situations you can't control and instead trust and have faith that Yah is taking care of everything in a perfectly orchestrated manner. When we surrender to Him, we turn our ego and our self-will over to his infinite wisdom. When we surrender to Yah, we let go of the painful distortion of uncertainty and separateness, and we embrace the truth of being connected to the one who knows all, sees all and is the creator of everything!. Surrendering your life to Yah’s authority, through his son Yahshua, brings freedom! It sets order and direction in your life! What you receive, for surrendering to the call for salvation, is beyond anything that you could ever imagine! Try him for yourself today!
Psalm 34:8 Oh taste and see that Elohim is good; blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
